x The Real Deal

Appearance:
Johnny Rayne's eyes never lied. The seriousness was always ruined by the fact that he could never not crack up a joke. Sometimes they showed his sincerity. Lying was a problem for Vince. The difference between sincerity and falseness was obvious in his eyes. His jet-black hair was usually down in a style that made his big eyes still show. Putting it up with some sort of styling material was never considered by Vincent. Headbangers were the best part of his hair.

Johnny stood at a frame of five feet and seven inches. He wasn't too tall, a disadvantage that stopped in sixth grade. Sturdy wasn't the frame that Vincent had, since he was somewhat skinny and .... agile. His skin was a pale color, since he never had an intention of tanning it or exposing himself to much activities that involved athletics.
Celebrity:
Gaspard Ulliel.
Personality:
You couldn't call him a big deal. Johnny Rayne was just ... there. The guy in the background, the one who caught whoever fell, the swing-pusher. You knew what those kinds of people were for, but you never went past that to acknowledge them. In fact, Vince didn't really consider acknowledging himself for that either. He thought that just being there was his sole purpose.

Johnny was what most people would call a pushover. It came along with the nice guy package. He gave into what everyone wanted, because he always thought that that was what made him and everybody else happy. It wasn't that he didn't want anything at all. It was ... well, Johnny.

As much as it should've fit him, Johnny wasn't an optimist. It was more of being a realist to him. When advice was needed, everything came straight from the heart from the boy. Maybe that's what made him a good .... psychologist. It was the way he told people the truth when they didn't really want it.

Hobbies, or anything else about your character:
Johnny made his obsession obvious. His music addiction did not run in the family. Definitely not. His parents were too much of serious goal-setters to be involved in things known as 'art.' He had picked up on the hobby of his guitar at 4th grade, taking a liking to listening to indie rock music. Notebook paper was all over his bedroom floor, the result for his frequent jam sessions.
Secrets:
Girls weren't Johnny's thing. Awkward moments were the trademark of Johnny's moments with the opposite gender.

__________

x The Origin

Where was he/she born?:
Portland, Oregon. :]
History:
Being in a Stepford household never helped Johnny Rayne get to where he was now. He was born with ... expectations. This was never the life he put up for. But along with everything else that happened in Johnny's life, he put up with everything anyway.

In the summer between third grade and fourth grade, he was introduced to the guitar. It was from seeing a performer in one of his dad's client dinners was he captivated by the instrument that so many were serenaded with. He took a liking to music and collected records and albums.

A little bit more about the family. Johnny was born into the richest of the rich, along with his sister Caroline. Speaking of his sister, she was the opposite of Vince in every way possible. Johnny always knew where he stood in life once he made friends with the people he knew who would stick around.. They were his friends and he would stick with them no matter what. That was the key difference between him and his sister.

His mother was the desperate housewife of America. She was actually a head cosmetologist, a.k.a. a specialist in cosmetics. Looking pretty and making others look pretty was her job. Vince was pretty much disgusted with the profession. Therefore, no communication would ever open up between the two besides some normal small-talk. His dad was the big money-maker. He owned the famous chain of hotels, known as the Rayne. Obviously, that made them a lot of money.

Money. It was usually what separated Vince from his other friends. First class rich boy was always made assumptions of.

And the present. Far away from a satisfied life, this rock star has his hopes and dreams.

Family:

The details are pretty much up there.
It fits in with his history.
His father's name is Dean Rayne.
His mother's name is Ginny Rayne.

x The Proof

RP Sample:

Quote:
I don't wanna waste my time. Becoming 'nother casuality of society. Don't wanna fall in line becoming 'nother victim of the conformity.

Skating on his Almost skateboard, he headed to the park to do another run. He sang the words loudly while smoothly gliding through the sidewalk. Smoothly shifting his own weight on the board, he easily did an Impossible without stopping the rhythm and pace.

White earphones were plugged in the boy's ears, drowning out any other noise. It wasn't too careful of him. A biker moving rapidly and ringing the bell at him would get no response. And the boy would suffer another accident for the nth time. But injuries were pretty much nothing to the great, fearless, and careless Daniel Nolan. The emergency room pretty much familiarized with him already. And so did his parents with his enormous medical bills.

Everyone pretty much got used to Danny Nolan.

-----

Reaching the park, he looked for anyone to talk to and possibly look after his backpack. A grin formed on his face when he saw Logan Elliot trying out the grind line on the stairs, and skated to him.

"Having some trouble?" He smirked. Danny was good friends with the guy, and he liked a little friendly competition with the boy. He picked up his board, walked up the stairs, and did a switch grind on the stairs, landed, and stumbled without tripping.
